NetCharts Performance Dashboard 2.5 (NCPD) – An update has been released for NetCharts Performance Dashboards version 2.5 related to the incorrect sorting of data in Drilldown view. When a user selects to sort on a column in the Drilldown view, the ordering of the columns always includes any columns that precede it in the Drilldown view. This update includes a change to the queries generated for the Drilldown view to ensure the specified column for sorting is including in the ordering first.

Knowledge Base solution 527, NCPD 2.5 Update (Incorrect sort order in Drilldown view), is available via our Customer Support Portal for users with a current License Support & Maintenance agreement.

NetCharts Server 7.0 – A new security functionality relating to Preventing Unauthorized Access to NetCharts Server has been introduced in the latest release.

Knowledge Base solution 530, Preventing Unauthorized Access to NetCharts Server, is available via our Customer Support Portal for users with a current License Support & Maintenance agreement.

Contact our technical support team for more information, to verify the status of your License Support and Maintenance agreement or to ask how you can obtain a License Support and Maintenance agreement. 2. Chart Spotlight

A useful feature to make it easier to read several different datasets is to use with multiple axis where each of the datasets have their own y axis.

Each of the Y axis autoscales with the left labels changing accordingly. Additionally, having a line symbol at each data point makes it easier to differentiate between two that at first glance appear to be the same. Finally, having a LineLabel above the data point also helps to quickly read the value.

Take a look at our blog post to find out how you can add a stacked multiple axes in 4 simple steps using NetCharts Designer.

3. Developers Corner

Did you know that with just a couple simple steps you can add legend interactivity to your charts in NetCharts Pro that are supported in both raster and vector image formats?

In this particular example, hover the pointer over each of the legend items and you will see the matching data lines change colors.
