NetCharts Performance Dashboards has four easy-to-manage steps to creating and utilizing Visual Mining's data visualization and charting software.
Step 1 - Choose data visualization sources
NetCharts Performance Dashboards allows end users to create interactive dashboards from most common business data sources.

Step 2 - Choose table from data sources
Once connected to the source for data visualization, you can select which tables are of interest. Often a data source contains hundreds of tables, only a few of which are of genuine interest to a NetCharts interactive dashboard user.

Step 3 - Create a Key Performance Indicator collection
Once you have selected the tables for data visualization, you select which fields from those tables are of interest. NetCharts Performance Dashboards will automatically configure a key performance indicator collection for your selected data, creating dozens visualization styles that are ready to be added to dashboard applications with just the click of a mouse.

Step 4 - Build interactive dashboards
Use Visual Mining's NetCharts Performance Dashboards key performance indicator wizard to build an interactive dashboard, or simply drag and drop KPIs from the NCPD palette.

Steps 1 to 3 are typically done only once, at the beginning of a dashboard application project, by someone familiar with the data source. Users can use a simple GUI to perform these steps or can allow NCPD to perform them automatically. Step 4 can be done multiple times by multiple users. Users can create their own personal dashboards, publish dashboards for others to use, or simply use dashboards published by others. The whole process can be completed in mere hours versus months with most dashboard and BI solutions.
