Eyelit realized early on that executives need access to critical intelligence throughout the enterprise and across the global supply chain to improve manufacturing efficiency. Several of Eyelit‘s customers in both the semiconductor and solar industries manufacture silicon wafers. These manufactures follow a very specific ‘recipe’ for processing silicon wafers. It is critical for these manufacturers to strictly adhere to the prescribed guidelines because even slight variations in processing could cost them millions of dollars in defects. As another example, some Eyelit customers manufacture medical devices that must be produced according to US Government Food and Drug Administration (FDA) standards.
