American Exteriors, LLC is the largest vinyl replacement window and siding company in the Rocky Mountain Region. With over 25 years of experience, American Exteriors has received top praise from several governing bodies including Energy Star, Green Seal and Qualified Remodeler, and is known for providing the highest quality, most energy efficient products in the industry.
American Exteriors Challenges
After upgrading the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to a more sophisticated system that consolidated the company’s business data, American Exteriors needed a data visualization solution that could provide high-level views of data to the executive team, yet also deliver in-depth dashboards for specific divisions within the organization.
American Exteriors had three problems they needed to solve:
The Office of the CFO needed to better understand how it could iron out revenue inconsistencies. To accomplish this, Finance needed data visualization software that could display gross and net sales, and other key performance metrics.
The Sales and Marketing divisions wanted to create a weekly report that could display information from multiple departments, including canvas call contacts, leads generated, sales performance for individual employees and performance for each sales office.
American Exteriors Operations division wanted a better way to evaluate the processes and procedures for each line in every manufacturing plant. To do that, it needed a dashboard solution that could quickly identify lags within manufacturing process.
In search of a cost-effective dashboard solution that was easy to implement in all of the company’s offices across the mid-west, American Exteriors knew the solution had to be flexible and agile to support operations in 12 states with eight different distributors.
