Newview Technologies Inc. Selects Visual Mining's NetCharts® Pro
Application Helps Large Clients Organize Material Specifications for Greater Re-Use and Effective Sourcing of Supply
Rockville , Maryland - December 2, 2004 - Visual Mining, Inc., a leading developer of reporting and data visualization solutions, today announced that Newview Technologies Inc. selected NetCharts® Pro to provide interactive graphs for their Material Specifications Management (MSM) application.
"Our typical clients are large Auto, Industrial or Aerospace OEM's. We have just announced the release of our MSM 4.0 Application to the market, and we are about launch the first client deployment using NetCharts Pro. NetCharts Pro allows for aggregation of the core analysis data output from our MSM application to be displayed in an easy to understand format," said Greg Gilbert, Vice President of Client Services for Newview Technologies, Inc. "In addition, we have plans for deploying NetCharts Pro in our Coordinated Network Procurement (CNP) product at several large Auto/truck OEM's in the US, as it allows for standard browser-only clients of CNP to see graphical views of the monthly reports like direct material cost savings, invoice summaries, and more."
"Organizations like Newview realize the added value of offering data visualization in their applications as their customers need to understand and disseminate information pertinent to the day to day operations," said Michael MacDonald, CEO and Founder of Visual Mining. "NetCharts Pro provides a light weight solution with a robust feature set that satisfies both the performance and information delivery demands of their customers. And by going with an existing solution, Newview can quickly offer data visualization enhancements, while remaining focused on their core competencies."
