empuron selects Visual Mining's NetCharts to graph technical data for electrical energy applications

Rockville, Maryland - August 24, 2004 - Visual Mining, Inc., a leading developer of reporting and data visualization solutions, today announced that empuron Software Systems selected NetCharts to generate interactive graphs over their secure portal for electrical energy providers.

"We decided NetCharts was the right visual reporting software product to integrate into our data collection applications due to it's rich feature set and platform independence that will facilitate the expectations of our customers," said Hubert Medl, CEO of empuron Software Systems. "NetCharts helped us complete our applications more quickly, and deliver more informative and concise ways for our clients to understand the technical data."

"As software developers look for ways to improve time to market, more make the decision to leverage existing solutions rather than spend more time building their own," said Michael MacDonald, CEO and Founder, Visual Mining. "Our products work flawlessly in virtually any environment, with a well-developed feature set so that the build vs. buy decision is an easy one -developers can focus on the task, and not the tool."
