High Performance Data Visualization EJB Makes Debut at JavaOne
Rockville, MD, May 24, 2001 - At the JavaOne Conference, June 3-8 in San Francisco, California, Visual Mining, Inc. will debut the first Enterprise Java Bean designed specifically to chart-enable web-based applications on large-scale intranets and the Internet.
NetCharts EJB was built specifically to deliver peak performance with J2EE compliant applications servers in a "best of breed" scenario where the application server handles data access and business logic while NetCharts EJB executes the data visualization aspects of the application. The application server dynamically builds pages that are required and delivers up to the minute data in the right charts that the user requires.
This new software is ideal for web applications builders who are involved in large-scale deployments that may require multiple servers with widely varying loads. These developers also now have the capability to dynamically update the information and the ability for users to interact with the charts they provide.
At JavaOne, Visual Mining will be featured in the Intel Corporation Booth, #1345. "We're proud to be one of a select few companies invited by Intel to participate in the show," said Michael MacDonald, founder and CEO of Visual Mining. "It gives us a good opportunity to roll the product out to the public along side one of the premier brands in the computing business."
Mr. MacDonald added, "NetCharts EJB's value has already been proven in the marketplace. During its beta phase, leading edge technology companies, large-scale financial institutions and government agencies extensively utilized it. We're quite pleased that our partnership with these diverse groups has produced such a fine product."
Visual Mining developed the first Java-based data visualization solution in 1996 and serves thousands of applications developers, web builders, and programmers worldwide. JavaOne is June 3-8, 2001 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California.
