Visual Mining Announces Alliance with Siebel Systems, Inc.

Siebel Systems and Visual Mining Partner to Deliver Web-Based Interactive Data Visualization Solution for Siebel 7

Rockville, Maryland, May 1, 2002- Visual Mining, Inc. today announced that its server side data visualization tool, ChartWorks Server, has been integrated with Siebel 7 to provide powerful interactive data visualization capabilities to customers of Siebel Systems, the world's leading provider of eBusiness applications software.

Siebel 7 is the latest version of Siebel eBusiness Applications. Siebel Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: SEBL) provides an integrated family of eBusiness applications software, enabling multichannel sales, marketing, and customer service systems to be deployed over the Web, in call centers, in the field, through reseller channels, and across retail and dealer networks. The integration of the Visual Mining ChartWorks Server with Siebel 7 will allow Siebel customers to interact with the customer-centric data in their Siebel eBusiness Applications through a sophisticated visual charting interface that can be accessed through a Web browser.
