Visual Mining Releases v5.0 of NetCharts® Applets and
NetCharts® Pro

New Version expands functionality with three new chart types, and a number of dashboard-friendly enhancements

Rockville, MD – April 27, 2006 – Visual Mining, Inc., a leading developer of online dashboard reporting and data visualization solutions, announced today its major release of version 5.0 of the Company’s graphing component software products—NetCharts® Applets and NetCharts® Pro.

Version 5.0 of Visual Mining’s chart component libraries introduces three new chart types – including Heat Map charts, Multipie charts, and Pareto charts - to give developers even more charting choices. A number of new chart component controls and a variety of chart-specific enhancements, such as 3-D dial borders and rotated, angled axis text enhance chart images with additional professional touches. Both products are available for download from the Company web site and offer a 30-day free trial.

NetCharts Applets provides a fast and easy system for building sophisticated interactive online charts, reducing the overall time and costs associated with building graphical reporting applications. Anyone who builds web-enabled applications can use NetCharts Applets. Many large companies, government agencies, and other organizations have users needing to visualize, interpret, and react to data via the Internet.

NetCharts Pro features a robust API that provides data model interfaces, hundreds of precise setter/getter method calls and the ability to serialize or configure state from a reusable text template. Graphs can be produced in bitmapped or vector form with popup/drill-down features. NetCharts Pro users are programmers who are committed to building and deploying Java-based applications requiring graphs and charts.

“Our award-winning charting software is used in thousands of implementations, in hundreds of industries, in all kinds of applications. NetCharts® products are found everywhere - from providing on-demand executive dashboards, to supplying doctors with patient diagnostics, to enabling easy-to-read manufacturing performance metrics on the factory floor," said Michael MacDonald, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Visual Mining, Inc. "With version 5.0, we’ve made it even easier for developers to quickly create and deploy effective data presentations.”
