Visual Mining announces United Devices
as a new NetCharts® Server client

Rockville, Maryland - March 24, 2004 - Visual Mining, Inc., a leading developer of graphical reporting and online dashboard solutions for enterprises, announced that United Devices has embedded NetCharts® Server in Grid MPT Insight, a reporting product to be offered as an upgrade to their flagship platform, Grid MPT. Grid MPT enables any organization to coordinate and share existing computing, application, data, storage, and network resources across departmental and geographically dispersed organizations - or to outsource processing needs to a secure private grid.

To shorten development time, United Devices uses Visual Mining's NetCharts® Server to fulfill their graphical reporting needs, rather than develop their own reporting and report serving software. NetCharts® Server integration enables Grid MPT to run reports for various areas, including system performance, usage, and jobs information; administrators will control valuable information for optimizing system performance and better administration of the Grid MPT system.

"By better utilizing existing compute resources or outsourcing processing needs, United Devices' customers can alleviate bottlenecks and tackle complex computational problems with greater success," said Chris Crafford, Vice President of Engineering at United Devices. "Using graphical reports for system performance analysis enhances our customers' ability to understand the information Grid MPT presents and to act more effectively on it. NetCharts® Server's graphical reporting capabilities, server technology and effortless integration made it easy to decide to go with an existing."

Visual Mining's interactive graphical reporting solutions greatly increase the accessibility and comprehension of data, so people make better decisions faster.

"United Device's commitment to helping their customers optimize system performance and drive down costs is a natural fit with the power and affordability of NetCharts® Server," said Michael MacDonald, CEO and Founder of Visual Mining, Inc. "We take pride in producing the best data visualization tools at affordable prices - and having our tools used in a system performance application like United Devices' validates our efforts."
