Professional Services Consultant - Deltek

Sales Account Executive
If you have a track record of selling accounting services, software, or business solutions to middle market finance executives (CFOs, VP of Finance, Controller) we have an exciting opportunity for you.
We are seeking an experienced inside sales representative to sell our business intelligence dashboard solutions to finance executives. A prior sales role in an accounting services firm or in a software/services business offering GL software and/or services (Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Deltek, Timberline, etc.) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Quickly respond to marketing-generated leads and provide thorough, consistent follow-up. Ultimately convert leads to prospects, prospects to opportunities and opportunities to sales.
- Make outbound cold calls to identify prospects and create new sales leads. Ultimately progress leads to closed sales.
- Understand both a day in the life of our target client and how our solution integrates with workflow and provides value.
- Adjust content of sales tools and presentations to suite specific needs of similar prospects (i.e., vertical markets) and individual prospects; • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
- Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of 4- 6+ years of successful software sales experience or equivalent
- A verifiable track record of achievement, stable work history, and positive/willing to learn attitude;
- Functional fluency in the finance function and technical fluency in contemporary software technology and financial reporting systems;
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills;

User Experience Designer
Visual Mining, Inc., a leader in data visualization and dashboard solutions based in the Washington, DC metro area, is is seeking a talented User Experience Designer. This individual will interact with product management, customers, the development team, and company executives to design, document, prototype, and validate innovative and intuitive user experiences for complex business intelligence processes in a web-based application.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Be a tireless advocate for the end user
- Collect, analyze, and translate customer feedback into improvements in the design and user experience of the product
- Define and document user personas and their associated workflows
- Design intuitive and innovative web-based user interfaces that implement defined workflows
- Use software tools to create sitemaps, wireframes, user interface mockups, and interactive prototypes
- Work with product management to translate user interface designs into technical product requirements documentation
- Work with product development to ensure proper execution of documented designs and workflows
- Evaluate development builds for conformance to requirements
Requirements:
- Strong user-centered design philosophy
- A keen design sense and an extreme attention to detail
- Strong understanding of the technical architecture of web based business software applications.
- Experience using wireframing and prototyping tools, such as Balsamiq/Invision/etc.
